Orchid walk at Barnack Hills & Holes Nature Reserve
Neil Crossman has again agreed to lead a walk; this time to see several native orchids including Common Twayblade, Man Orchid and Chalk Fragrant Orchid and other plant species. There are eight species of orchid found at this site.
Meet at the car park off the Wittering Road (grid ref. TF 073 047) at 7 pm. The best orchid areas are within 300 m of the car park so not too much walking involved. (Parking in Barnack village, east of crossroads, if the car park is full – 400 m walk to meeting point)
Membership of the club is £25 per year, payable in March. There will be no extra charges at any meeting/event except where indicated for refreshments.
Visitors are welcome at any meeting/event at a cost of £4 per session.
