About our Church Community

St Mary Magdalene continues to be an important part of the Stilton community. It provides valuable support and guidance to our youngsters at Stilton Primary School.
In 2024 we welcomed a new Rector, the Rev. Diane Kutar, Stilton’s 51st Rector in a line which dates back to 1218, although she is the first female Rector! Diane lives with her husband Phil and her son Christian in the Rectory in Stilton.

Safeguarding Statement

The Stilton Group of Churches is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
