v) SUMMARY AND RAW DATASETS

The Summary Dataset should prove useful for a variety of commercial and administrative applications, including marketing, transport, planning, leisure, services, facilities, etc.
The Summary Dataset could also be a valuable resource for educational studies and research.

The Stilton Village Appraisal group can provide the Summary Dataset of the appraisal in a variety of formats, including Microsoft Access tables, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, dBASE databases, and also ASCII text files in comma-separated or fixed-width formats. The files can be e-mailed, posted on floppy disk, or downloaded from the internet via FTP.

The Stilton Village Appraisal group, in association with Stilton Parish Council, reserve the right to make a charge for the provision of the Summary Dataset, dependent upon the intended application, and the effort involved in formatting the data.

The Raw Data are held in a 10 Mbyte Microsoft Access97 database. The raw data allow greater relational analysis to be performed than are considered in the current Appraisal Analysis - for example, relating age or gender to other responses elsewhere in the questionnaire. The Raw Dataset is available on a CD-ROM, price £10. The CD-ROM also contains all of the files, images and appendices from the web site, allowing the site to be viewed 'off-line'.
