  • 6th - 8th: Summer Trip to Douai, France: Twinning Association. Depart 16:15 on Friday 6th, return by 21:00 on Sunday 8th. £150 per person (based on two sharing), which includes travel (via tunnel), 2 nights quality B&B, gourmet Sunday lunch including wine. Attractions include owls, bouncy castle, pony rides, fire engine, games, ball pool, tractor, wood turning, police car, music, gymnastics & dance, maypole dancing.   • 10th: Playgroup Sponsored bike, trike or walk around Ferry Meadows. If you would like to sponsor the children in their epic journey, please contact Fiona on 245670.
  • 12th, 9.30am: Stilton Over 60's Club Outing to Melton Mowbray. Coach leaves the Post Office at 9.30am. Cost £5.
  • 16th, 12 noon to 9.30pm: Playing Field Grand Open Day. Beer tent, food, cheerleaders. Skateboard / BMX ramp, climbing wall (small charge), rugby, football, cricket, tai chi, boules, trampoline, kite flying, and other sports and attractions.   • 11th, 11am - 4pm: Lambing Day at Manor Farm, Morborne (just go to Folksworth and follow the signs!). See lambs being born, chicks being hatched, and learn about farming. Morborne church is also opening on the day, serving refreshments between 11am and 2pm.   • 9th, 8:30pm: HATS (Hampton Amateur Theatre Society) Open Evening / re-launch in Hampton, at Hampton Community Room in Hargate Way, next to Hargate Primary School. HATS is as much a vibrant social group as it is a comedy drama group. Come along for a free glass of wine and a chat with the members.
