About Stilton - Village Signs
There are two carved wooden signs on the two roads into the village.
	This sign is located on North Street, opposite the junction with Mill Road, and depicts a stage coach outside the Bell Inn. It was presented by the WI.
	This sign is located on Caldecote Road and depicts a cheese being rolled outside the Bell Inn, with the Church behind (some artistic licence there!)
Spring 2005: please note that the village signs are at present with the sculptor, Glyn Mould, for extensive repairs. Winter 2005/6: the newly-restored signs have been re-erected, as shown in the photos above.
